Monteringsstolpe SOLID 511, 512, 521
For simple electrical end plates.
Area of ??use
Mounting post 511 can be mounted in wooden, steel and aluminum frames. 512 is intended for over-falsified thin wooden doors. 521 can be mounted in insulated aluminum frames together with double-fall locks.
Function
The choice of post is determined by a number of different factors, which together provide the optimal combination of door/lock/post.
One of the most important factors is how the door itself is designed. The material of the frame/door leaf can vary, e.g. wood, aluminum or steel, and the profile of the door (unfolded/folded) must be taken into account.
In order to be able to choose electric end plate and mounting post, you must also know the type of mechanical lock used, if it is a single or double-fall lock and how large the tongue dimension between the front edge of the door leaf to the lock piston is.
Special standards for fire-rated doors
For doors with fire-technical class EI/E 60, EI/E 30 or EI/E15, simple electric end plates may not be used as door retaining fittings.
If in doubt regarding the lock/electric end plate combination in fire-rated doors, contact Assa or read Boverket's Building Regulations BBR 94.3 section 5:6214.
